On Monday, September 7, 2026 at 3:15 PM, Troopers arrested Jayden Gowdy, age 19, of 114 Pinehurst Ave, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty; 2.) Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, 3.) Disorderly Conduct and 4.) Possession of Beverage by Underage Persons. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Wysteria Drive, in the Town of North Kingstown. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution pending a morning arraignment in Fourth District Court where he will be presented as a bail violator.
