At 1 :10 AM, Troopers arrested Franklin Diaz, age 53, of 27 Four Winds Drive, Fall River, Massachusetts, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Valley Street in the City of Providence. Diaz was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
At 2:02 AM, Troopers arrested Enoc Lopez Sanchez, age 35, of 571 Union Avenue, Apt. 1, Providence, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Shoplifting (2 Counts) originating out of the Cranston Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue in the City of Providence. Lopez Sanchez was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to the Cranston Police Department.
