On Saturday September 12, 2026, at 12:01 PM, Troopers arrested Anthony Gomes, Age 46, of 3 Fern Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession Scheduled I-II Controlled Substance (Marijuana) 1st Offense and 2.) Driving With Suspended License 4th Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. Gomes was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, presented as a probation violator/arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
On Saturday September 12, 2026, at 3:03 PM, Troopers arrested Syndey Hoffman, age 20, of 81 Rice Street, North Borough, Massachusetts for Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident on Route 195 in the City of East Providence and a subsequent investigation conducted by Troopers. Hoffman was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
