At 1:29 PM, Troopers arrested Raymond Crowley, age 52, of 88 Howland Avenue, Jamestown, RI on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Reckless Driving – First Offense. This arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation conducted by Trooper Felice and Troopers locating Mr. Crowley at his residence. Mr. Crowley was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Third District Court date.
At 9:52 PM, Troopers arrested Joseph Thorpe age 28, of 92 Dryden Boulevard, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Kent County Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Hearing on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V of Controlled Substance – Less than 10 Grams originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 2.) Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Hearing on the original charge of Unlawful Breaking and Entering originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department, and 3.) Providence Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Hearing on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance – Less than 10 Grams originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue in the City of Cranston. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions - Men's Intake.
At 12:10 AM, Troopers arrested Andrea Russo age 40, of 1346 Newport Avenue Unit 76, Attleboro, Massachusetts for 1.) Possession of Controlled Substance I-V – Less than 10 Grams (Fentanyl) and 2.) Possession of Controlled Substance I-V – Less than 10 Grams (Crack Cocaine). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 in the Town of Jamestown. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where she was processed and held pending morning arraignment in Second District Court where she will be presented as a bail violator.
