On September 16, 2026, at approximately 6:30 AM, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Middletown Police Department arrested Zachary Bidlack, age 20, of 75 Bayview Park, Middletown, Rhode Island, for the following: 1.) Newport County District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on the original charge of DUI originating from the Portsmouth Police Department, 2.) Kent County District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Violation on the original charge of DUI originating from the Lincoln Police Department, and 3.) Newport County District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Violation on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating from the Portsmouth Police Department. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Bidlack was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Middletown Police Department on scene.
At 3:30 p.m., members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Nancy Aguilar Martinez, age 39, of 47 Walnut Street, Portsmouth, Rhode Island, for 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses - Over $10,000, 2.) Fraudulently Obtaining Public Assistance, and 3.) Giving False Documents to a Public Official. This arrest was the result of an investigation by the Financial Crimes Unit and Ms. Martinez turning herself in to State Police Headquarters. Ms. Martinez was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Crawford, and released on $20,000/personal recognizance.
On September 16, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Kerving Bonilla Matias, age 50, with last known address of 569 Robinson Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Violence- Violation of No Contact Order 2nd offense. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Adult Correctional Institution Special Investigations Unit and the ACI Investigations Unit. Mr. Kerving Bonilla Matias was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he was granted $5,000 surety bail and remanded to the ACI.
On September 16, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit Nassein Worrell, age 21, with last known address of 50 Railroad Street, Lincoln, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Violence- Violation of No Contact Order 1st offense. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Adult Correctional Institution Special Investigations Unit and the ACI Investigations Unit. Mr. Worrell was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he was granted $1,000 surety bail and remanded to the ACI.
On September 16, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Michael Jensen Carter, age 39, with last known address of 19 Salem Street, Wilmington, Massachusetts, as a Fugitive of Justice from the State of Massachusetts. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Department of Corrections Records and Identification Unit and the ACI Investigations Unit. Mr. Jensen Carter was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he waived extradition proceedings and was remanded into the custody of the Sheriff's Department pending his return to Massachusetts.
At 8:30 AM, members of the Auto Theft Task Force and ACI Investigations Unit arrested Olivier M. Peralta, age 41, of 124 Warrington Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1) False Statement to Obtain a Registration, 2.) False Statement to Obtain a Registration, and 3) False Statement to Obtain a Registration. The arrest was the result of an investigation by members of the Auto Theft Task Force. The subject was taken into custody at the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment and issued $1000.00 PR by Judicial Officer Joseph P. Ippolito.
