On September 22, 2026, at 6:00 a.m., members of the Intelligence Unit, Violent Fugitive Task Force, and the FBI Safe Streets Task force, arrested Ruben Josue Depina Andrade, age 20, of 57 Sylvian Street, Apartment #1, Central Falls, Rhode Island, for 1) License or Permit Required for Carrying a Pistol; 2) Alteration of Marks of Identification on Firearms; 3) Restrictions on Manufacture, Sale, and Purchase of Prohibited Firearms; 4) Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons Prohibited; and 5) Sale of a Concealed Weapon. This arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the Intelligence Unit. The suspect was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment where he was presented as a 46-G bail violator.
On September 22, 2026, at 2:30 PM, members of the HIDTA Task Force and DEA Providence Office arrested John Lenis, age 39, of 171 Allura Lane, Unit 3, Johnston for Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine. The arrest was the result of the execution of search warrants at the conclusion of a narcotics investigation. Mr. Lenis was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the ACI Intake facility pending his morning arraignment.
