On Wednesday September 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM, Troopers arrested Gustavo Vanegas, age 45, of 159 Holyoke Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts for Domestic Violence – Violation of No Contact Order First Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Pawtucket. Vanegas was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
On Wednesday September 23, 2026, at 12:24 PM, Troopers arrested Edward Lassiter, age 34, of 104 Grand View Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for Driving with Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License Fourth or Subsequent Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle crash on Route 95 South in the City of Providence. Lassiter was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
On Wednesday September 23, 2026, at 5:34 PM, Troopers arrested Rony Gozalez Rodas, age 42, of 105 N Bend Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Simple Assault or Battery and 2.) Disorderly Conduct originating from the Central Falls Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Providence. Rodas was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Central Falls Police Department.
On Thursday September 24, 2026, at 1:00 AM, Troopers arrested Glen Caton age 51, of 76 Serrel Sweet Road, Johnston, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence BAC Unk 2nd Off and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Wickenden Street, in the City of Providence. Caton was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight as a probation violator.
