On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:30 AM, troopers arrested Unique Carter, age 32, of 82 Mawney Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Operating on a Suspended License – 4th or Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Tobey Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters, where he was processed and later transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment where he was presented as a probation violator.
On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 2:30 PM, troopers arrested Charles Correa Cajigas, age 32, of 21 Cushman, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Duty to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Attended Vehicle, and 2.) Obstruction an Officer Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a hit and run motor vehicle crash on Route 99 in the Town of Cumberland, and a subsequent investigation by members of the Scituate Barracks. The subject turned himself into State Police Headquarters where he was processed and taken to Sixth District Court for arraignment.
On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 5:30 PM, troopers arrested James Jackson, age 28, of 28 Amey Street, Pawtucket, RI on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Shoplifting and 2.) Conspiracy, originating out of the North Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the North Providence Police Department.
On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 7:25 PM, troopers arrested Bernard Hilton age 65, of 171 Ray Ave, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of troopers responding to a motor vehicle crash on Route 99, in the Town of Lincoln. The subject was transported by rescue to Rhode Island Hospital for minor complaints of pain and misdemeanor released with a future Third Division District Court date.
