At 6:15 AM, Troopers arrested Alex Briggs, age 31, of 231 Maple Avenue Apt. 403, Newport, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the Rhode Island State Police – Wickford Barracks for 1.) Bank Fraud, 2.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses/Personation > 10,000, 3.) Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purposes, 4.) Conspiracy and Counterfeiting, 5.) Conspiracy – Felony Less Than 5 Years, and 6.) Superior Court Hold Without Bail Bench Warrant originating from the Newport Police Department for Fraudulent use of Credit Card. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation by Troopers and subsequent warrant service at the suspect's residence. Briggs was transported to the State Police- Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and later transported to Second Division District Court for arraignment.

Bank Fraud, 2.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses/Personation > 10,000, 3.) Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purposes, 4.) Conspiracy and Counterfeiting, and 5.) Conspiracy – Felony Less Than 5 Years. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation by Troopers and subsequent warrant service at the suspect's residence. Moon was transported to the State Police- Wickford Barracks, where she was processed and later transported to Second Division District Court for arraignment.
At 12:18 AM, Troopers arrested Michaela White, age 23 of 30 Walton Street, Providence, Rhode Island for, 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC Unknown – 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – 1st Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to a responsible adult with a future Third Division District Court date.
