At 10:00 AM, Troopers arrested Brian Smith II, age 34, of 143 Central Street, Apt 2, Central Falls, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Felony Eluding - Second Offense originating out of the Lincoln Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Dexter Street in the City of Pawtucket. Smith was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Lincoln Police Department.
At 12:10 PM, Troopers arrested Vaal Sterling, age 62, of 57 Fiume Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates and 2.) Providing False Documentation to a Public Official. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street in the City of Providence. Sterling was transported to the Rhode Island State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and later transported to Sixth Division District Court.
At 1:52 PM, Troopers arrested Carlos Vasquez, age 25, of 118 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department for the original charges of 1.) 2nd Degree Robbery, 2.) Breaking and Entering, and 3.) Conspiracy. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Carpenter Street in the City of Providence. Vasquez was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.
At 1:52 PM, Troopers arrested Gordon Smith, age 64, of 32 Vigilant Street, Cranston, Rhode Island, for a Superior Court Full Bench Warrant originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department for the original charge of 1.) Domestic Assault by Strangulation. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Carpenter Street in the City of Providence. Vasquez was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution-Men's Intake Service Center.
