On Friday September 25, 2026, at 5:00 PM, Troopers, arrested Joel Johnson, age 28, of 25 Mill Street, Hope, Rhode Island for 1.) Obtaining Property Under False Pretenses > 10,000, and 2.) Access to Computer for Fraudulent Purposes. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation with Johnson turning himself into the Scituate Barracks. Johnson was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and issued a future Third Division District Court arraignment date.
