On 9/25/26, at 1:45 PM, troopers arrested Norman Landry, age 80, of 298 Liberty Road, Exeter, Rhode Island for 1.) Assault with the Intent to Commit Specified Felonies (Murder) 2.) Assault with a Dangerous Weapon in Dwelling House 3.) Assault on Persons 60 Years of Age or Older Causing Serious Bodily Injury 4.) Second Degree Sexual Assault. The arrest was the result of troopers responding to a disturbance at 298 Liberty Road in the Town of Exeter. The subject was transported to the State Police - Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, special arraigned before a Justice of Peace where he was held without bail, then transported to the Adult Correctional Institution pending morning arraignment at Fourth Division District Court.
On 9/25/26, at 9:03 PM, troopers arrested Kristin Ulmschneider age 52, of 50 Andrew Comstock Road, Warwick, Rhode Island for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown - First Offense – (Blood Results Pending). The arrest was the result of troopers responding to a disabled motor vehicle on Route 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. The subject was transported to the State Police - Wickford Barracks where she was processed and held overnight as a bail violator pending morning special arraignment.
