PROVIDENCE, RI – The 2026 general election Voter Information Handbook is now available.
"Voters have many choices to make on Election Day – but voting should never be a pop quiz," said Secretary of State Gregg M. Amore. "We're proud to make this resource, as well as the resources in the Voter Information Center, available to voters to ensure they are prepared for each and every race and question on their ballot this November."
The Handbook will be delivered via USPS to all Rhode Island households throughout the coming weeks and is also available online here (in Spanish here).
The Handbook includes information about the three ways to vote in Rhode Island (by mail, early in-person, or on Election Day), as well as the five statewide bond questions. The Handbook also includes contact information for the Rhode Island Department of State, the Rhode Island Board of Elections, Disability Rights Rhode Island, and local boards of canvassers, as well as information for voters seeking assistance at the polls.
In addition to the statewide bond questions outlined in the Handbook, voters are encouraged to review a sample ballot online at vote.ri.gov to familiarize themselves with all races on their ballot, as well as local questions, if there are any in their community.
