On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 4:30 PM, troopers arrested Askari Stefanidis, age 18, of 73 Central Street Apt. C, Warwick, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Reckless Driving originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department. The arrest was the result of the subject turning himself in to the State Police Scituate Barracks. The subject was processed and later turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.
On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 10:56 PM, troopers arrested John Imondi, age 62, of 59 Leading Street, Johnston, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .15 or Greater (Phase I: 0.157% & Phase II: 0.149%) – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
