On Wednesday September 30, 2026, at 12:43 PM, Troopers arrested Jose Medina Alvarez, age 22, of 4 Whelan Road, Providence, Rhode Island, for Driving with Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License – Fourth or Subsequent Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Street in the City of Pawtucket. Medina Alvarez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
On Wednesday October 1, 2026, at 8:06 PM, Troopers arrested Roger Lapierre, age 64, of 40 Louisquisset Pike Unit 1, North Smithfield, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor-BAC .15 or Greater-First Offense (Phase I: .206% and Phase II: .203%). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146, in the Town of Lincoln. Lapierre was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
