On Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 12:34 AM, troopers arrested Jason Cardoso Fernandez, age 23, of 135 Mineral Spring Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – First Offense, 2.) Obstructing a Police Officer in Execution of Duty, 3.) Disorderly Conduct and 4.) Resisting Arrest. The arrest was the result of an investigation into an attempted motor vehicle stop and subsequent apprehension on Addison Place in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
On Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 2:21 AM, troopers arrested Kavid Izquierdo Malonado, age 26, of 85 Atwood Street, Apartment 1, Providence, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Robbery originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Garfield Avenue in the City of Cranston. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters, where he was processed and later turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.
