On Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:05 PM, Troopers arrested Joao Amado age 44, of 55 Shawmut Avenue, Central Falls, Rhode Island on two Providence Superior Court bench warrants for 1.) Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Larceny Over $1,500, originating out of the Central Falls Police Department, and 2.) Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Obtaining Property by False Pretenses, originating out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on India Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake Center.
On Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:40 PM, Troopers arrested Shae Verville age 22, of 32 B Drive, Westport, Massachusetts for an affidavit and arrest warrant for 1.) Cyberstalking and 2.) Crank/Obscene Phone Calls originating out of the Barrington Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Eddy Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Barrington Police Department.
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 2:35 AM, Troopers arrested Charles Fortes age 21, of 157 Warren Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Fugitive from Justice out of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on the original charge of Robbery – Unarmed; 2.) Obstructing a Police Officer in Execution of Duty, and 3.) Resisting Legal and/or Illegal Arrest. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop and subsequent foot pursuit on Marrin Street in the City of Pawtucket. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men's Intake Center.
