On Sunday October 18, 2026, at 8:00 PM Troopers arrested Joshua M. Cornuyer, age 36, of 30 Howard Avenue Cranston, RI for 1.) 6th District Court Bench Warrant for a Technical Violation on the original charge of Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty from the Woonsocket Police Department, 2.) 6th District Court Bench Warrant for a Technical Violation on the original charge of Domestic Violence – Simple Assault originating from the Woonsocket Police Department, and 3.) 6th District Court Bench Warrant for a Technical Violation on the original charge of Criminal Violation of a No Contact Order from the Woonsocket Police Department. This arrest was a result of a Troopers responding to an unwanted party at Harrington Hall in the City of Cranston. Cornuver was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Service Center.
On Sunday October 18, 2026, at 8:15 PM, Troopers arrested Jose Maldanado Ordonez age 42, of 1473 Centerville Road, Warwick, Rhode Island for Duty to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Vehicle. This arrest was the result of Trooper Rei responding to a hit and run motor vehicle accident on Route 95 in the City of Providence. Ordonez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
