At 1:39 PM, Troopers arrested Jaiden Sousa, age 19, of 174 New Nork Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment Conference on the original charge of Carrying a Pistol or Revolver Without License, originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Westminster Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake Center.
At 8:51 PM, Troopers arrested Ruben Badillo, age 37, of 116 Cottage Street, Central Falls, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C Unknown – First Offense; 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a motor vehicle accident on Route 37 in the City of Cranston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and held overnight as a bail violator pending morning arraignment.
