On Thursday, October 23, 2026, at 1:45 PM, troopers, arrested Edward J. Lassiter, age 24, of 104 Grand View Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for Driving with a Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License – Fourth or Subsequent Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Ashburton Street in the City of Providence. Lassiter was processed at the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake Center pending morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court where he will be presented as a probation violator.
On Thursday, October 23, 2026, at 2:49 AM, troopers arrested Carlos Firmino, age 59, of 6 Terry Lane, Fall River, Massachusetts, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C Unknown - First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 in the City of East Providence. Firmino was processed at the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court.
