At 12:38 PM, Troopers arrested Daniel Marino Jr., age 49, of 266 1st Avenue, Apartment 2, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of Schedule I-V Controlled Substance Less Than 10 Grams (Fentanyl). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 in the Town of North Kingstown. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future court date.
At 12:59 AM, Troopers arrested Daniel Traficante, age 37, of 22 Colonial Road, Coventry, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Breath Test - First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers locating a BOLO vehicle and a subsequent motor vehicle stop on New London Turnpike in the Town of East Greenwich. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third District Court date.
