On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at approximately 5:30 AM, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Edward Paulino Santos, age 51, of 194 Leah Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for a Federal Arrest Warrant for Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Paulino Santos was taken into custody with incident and transported to Providence Federal Court.
On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at approximately 6:00 AM, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Gustavo Sanchez-Ramirez, age 25, last known address of 61 Lonsdale Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Central Falls Police Department for 1) Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon - Stabbing. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Sanchez-Ramirez was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Central Falls Police Department.
On October 27, 2026 at approximately 12:00PM, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Carlos DaSilva, age 27, of 45 Moore Street, 3rd Floor, Providence, for 1) Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons Prohibited, 2) Large Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited. The arrest was the result of the execution of search warrants at the conclusion of a narcotics and firearms investigation. Mr. DaSilva was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the ACI Intake facility pending his morning arraignment at 6th District Court.
On October 27, 2026, at approximately 11:00 AM, members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit and the Hope Valley Barracks arrested Omar Crespo, age 64, of 152 Center St, Woonsocket, RI, for 1.) Larceny Under $1,500. The arrest was a result of a Gaming Enforcement Unit investigation and securing an arrest warrant for an incident that occurred at Bally's Twin River Casino. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and later transported to Third District Court for afternoon arraignment.
