On November 7, 2026, at approximately 4:38 PM, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Blake Carpenter age 29, of 221 Charles Way, Unit 1, Johnston, Rhode Island for Indecent Solicitation of a Child. Mr. Carpenter was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace. Mr. Carpenter was turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution as a 32F Probation Violator.
On November 7, 2026, at approximately 5:20 PM, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Saw Ye, age 50, of 1 Shadowbrook Lane, Apt B, Smithfield Rhode Island, for Indecent Solicitation of a Child. Mr. Ye was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace then released pending a future court date.
