The Washington County Grand Jury handed up an indictment on Friday, June 5, naming Sidney Chay, Anthony Deloge, Jonathan Wilson, Benjamin Xiong, and Kou Xiong each on nine counts of first-degree robbery, two counts of assault with the intent to rob, and three counts of conspiracy to commit robbery. It is alleged that on or about Feb. 28, 2009, Chay, Deloge, Wilson, Benjamin Xiong, and Kou Xiong, robbed three victims in the first degree, assaulted an additional victim with the intent to commit robbery, and conspired to do an unlawful act, to wit, commit robbery.

It is alleged that on or about March 27, 2009, the defendants robbed a victim in the first degree, assaulted an additional victim with the intent to commit robbery, and conspired to do an unlawful act, to wit, commit robbery.

It is alleged that on or about Apr. 17, 2009, the defendants robbed five victims in the first degree and conspired to do an unlawful act, to wit, commit robbery. All of the alleged incidents took place in Exeter. Rhode Island State Police Detectives conducted the investigation. Chay, Deloge, Wilson, Benjamin Xiong, and Kou Xiong, who are all currently held without bail at the ACI, will be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on June 15, 2009.
