On June 30, 2009 at 5:30 PM, Troopers arrested Joshua J. Silva, age 34, from 4 Royal Street, Plymouth, MA, for a 6th Division Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trail and Bail Violation Hearing on an original charge of Possession of Marijuana. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95-North in the Town of East Greenwich. The subject was processed at the barracks and then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

On June 30, 2009 at 6:30 PM, Troopers arrested Michael J. Tovino, age 46, of 24 Perkins Ave., #3, Narragansett, RI for (1) a 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for an Ability to Pay Hearing (suspended license) and (2) a 4th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Cost Review (suspended license). The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle on Post Road in North Kingstown. The subject was processed at the Wickford Barracks and then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

On June 30, 2009 at 11:55 PM, Troopers arrested Joseph Mecartea, age 25, of 503 Charles Street, Apt. 1, Fall River, MA for a Newport County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for payment restitution on an original charge of embezzlement out of the Middletown Police Department. Arrest the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Road in the Town of Tiverton. The subject was transported to the Portsmouth Barracks where he was processed and then transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
