A.T. Captain Duffy has been with the RIDOC for 19 years, working in Maximum, High Security, and the John J. Moran Medium Security Facility. He is now assigned to the Donald Price Medium Security Facility, also known as Medium II. Captain Adams also has 19 years of service with the Department and has worked in the John J. Moran Medium Security Facility and the Women’s facilities. He is now assigned to High Security, the highest level security in the Department.

Director Wall was joined by Wardens of the honorees' facilities and members of the Executive Staff for the informal promotion ceremony in mid March. “It is a testament to their character, work ethic, and leadership that these two fine officers are being promoted to the rank of Captain, the highest rank an officer can achieve,” notes Director Wall.
