Smoke Over Metro Providence Area Should Dissipate Over the Next Few Hours
Due to the warehouse fires in the greater Pawtucket/Providence Metro area from overnight into this morning smoke is being trapped due to the atmospheric weather conditions inversions which puts a blanket over the area not allowing the smoke to rise. This inversion should be lifting over the next several hours as winds pick up out of the southeast. Strenuous exercise during the next few hours in these areas should be limited until the smoke clears.
