Lt. Governor Elizabeth Roberts to Host 2011 Leadership Awards

Providence, RI - May 12, 2011

Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts will honor Rhode Island’s exemplary high school seniors from across the state on Monday, May 16, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. in the Atrium of the Rhode Island Department of Administration, One Capitol Hill, as part of the Lieutenant Governor’s Leadership Awards Program. Initiated in 1993 to recognize high school seniors who have made positive differences in their schools and communities, the program enables each high school in the state to choose one student that best embodies the qualities of a student leader and exhibits both a dedication to scholarship and a commitment to community service.
