ARREST LOCATION: CRANSTON
At 3:10 P.M., Troopers arrested Michael Poulin, age 49, of 50 Huckleberry Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island for 1) Driving under the Influence of Liquor- .15/greater Phase 1-.227, Phase II-.221 and 2) Driving After Suspension of License-Certain Violations. The arrest was the result of the party responding to the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal and being detained by two Sheriffs while attempting to leave in his vehicle. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Intake Service Center after being held as a bail violator.
ARREST LOCATION: PROVIDENCE
At 2:00 PM, Troopers arrested Robert Ainsburg, age 35, of 157 Maplecrest Drive, Pawtucket, RI for 1.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on an original charge of Driving with a Suspended License out of Lincoln Police Department. Arrest was the result of a Troopers responding to a disabled motor vehicle on Route 95 in the City of Providence. Subject was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released after posting bail.
ARREST LOCATION: PROVIDENCE
At 5:00 PM, Troopers arrested Krystian Usuga, age 22, of 186 Welfare Avenue, Warwick for 1) Domestic Simple Assault, and 2) Domestic Disorderly Conduct. Arrest the result of callers reporting a male and female fighting in a vehicle on Route 95 and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence. Usuga was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned, and released on $2,000 surety bail.
ARREST LOCATION: LINCOLN
At 8:00 PM, Troopers arrested David Schechter, age 52, of 12B Cutters Green, North Providence for a 3rd District Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear / Ability to Pay on an original charge of Operating on a Suspended License. Arrest the result of Schechter turning himself in at the barracks after a brief investigation. Schechter was processed, arraigned, and released.
ARREST LOCATION: CRANSTON
At 3:00 PM Troopers arrested Ariel Pena, age 35, of 129 Whittier Avenue, Providence, RI for 1.) Identity Fraud and 2.) Filing a False Document. Arrest was the result Lieutenant Marshal responding to the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles and subsequently taking Pena into custody. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed. He was later arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and turned over to the Intake Service Center.

At 8:15 PM, Troopers arrested Dennis R. Garcia, age 21, of 304 Potters Avenue, Providence, RI for 1.) Possession of Marijuana and 2.) Driving in Possession of a Controlled Substance. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Manton Avenue, in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and held overnight, pending a morning arraignment.

At 10:11 pm Troopers arrested Marcus T. Mangum, age 27, of 100 Donelson Street Providence, RI for 1.) Possession of marijuana subsequent offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Potters Avenue in the City of Providence. Mangum was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending his arraignment in the morning as a probation violator.

At 10:45 pm Troopers arrested Ronald F. Peterson, age 57, of 92 Rhode Island Street Cranston, RI for 1.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for failure to appear for cost review on a presenting false documents to a public official charge originating out of the Attorney General's Office. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hanover Street in the City of Providence. Peterson was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and released.

On Saturday, August 20 at 1:00 AM, Troopers arrested Brandon M. Varone, age 28, of 28 Lawrence Street, Cranston RI for a 6th District Court Warrant for failure to appear for arraignment for an original charge of operating on a suspended license by State Police – Scituate. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Valley Street in the City of Providence. Subject was processed and turned over to the Intake Service Center.

At 1:00 AM, Troopers arrested David Flanagan, age 27, of 695 Dyer Avenue, Cranston RI for a 6th District Court Warrant for failure to appear for the ability to pay for an original charge of operating on a suspended license by State Police – Lincoln. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Valley Street in the City of Providence. Subject was processed and turned over to the Intake Service Center.
