ARREST LOCATION: LINCOLN
At 4:45 PM, Troopers arrested Brittany Scuncio age 21 of 186 Bryant St. Cumberland Rhode Island for Simple Assault and Battery. The arrest was the result of a follow up investigation of a simple assault complaint. Subject was misdemeanor released from the Barracks with a future 6th District Court date.
ARREST LOCATION: PAWTUCKET
At 9:10 PM, Troopers arrested Paul Troia, age 47, of 18 West Avenue, Pawtucket for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs – 1st Offense (B.A.C. > .15) Phase I: .240 B.A.C. / Phase II: .227 B.A.C. 2.) Duty to Stop at Accident – Damage to Attended Vehicle. The arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a hit & run accident that occurred on Main Street in the City of Pawtucket and later locating the suspect vehicle at the intersection of Thurston Street at Newell Avenue in the City of Pawtucket. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution after not posting the required bail.

At 9:30 PM, Troopers while working the Providence Police NRT detail arrested Mr. Matthew Drew, age 19, of 27 Roger Williams Avenue, Providence for a 6th District Court warrant for 1. Violation of Suspended Sentence. Arrest the result of a motor vehicle stop on Chalkstone Avenue, Providence. Drew was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and turned over to the ACI Intake Center,

At 9:45 PM, Troopers while working the Providence Police NRT detail arrested Mr. Martin Cruz, age 19, of 100 Burn Street, Apt #2, Providence for Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I - Ecstasy. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Douglas Avenue, Providence. Cruz was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned by Justice of the Peace Iuliano and released.
