The Washington County Grand Jury yesterday reported out an indictment charging one count of first degree sexual assault and one count of procuring alcohol for a minor. It is alleged that on or about August 24, 2011, Love sexually assaulted a woman, with the assault being in the first degree. It is further alleged that Love knowingly provided alcohol to a person under 21 years of age.
The alleged incidents occurred in North Kingstown and the North Kingstown Police conducted the investigation. Love is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on 11/14/11. He is currently released on $10,000 surety bail.
