ARREST LOCATION: PROVIDENCE

At 9:45AM, Troopers arrested Dany Alvarez, age: 20 of 277 Prairie Avenue, #2, Providence, RI for a 6th District Court warrant for Failure to Appear for an Arraignment on a charge of Shoplifting originating out of Providence PD. Arrest the result of a motor vehicle stop on Gordon Avenue in the city of Providence. The subject was transported to the barracks for processing and later turned over to 6th District Court.

ARREST LOCATION: PROVIDENCE

At 10:00 AM, Troopers arrested Higinio Perez, age 19 of 124 Mitchell Street, Providence, RI for a 6th District Court warrant for Failure to Appear for an Arraignment on a charge of Shoplifting out of Providence PD. Arrest the result of a motor vehicle stop on Ontario Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the barracks for processing and later turned over to 6th District Court.

ARREST LOCATION: PROVIDENCE

At 3:30 PM, Troopers arrested Damaris Aponte, age 20, of 13 Horton Street, Apt. 1, Providence for Simple Assault. Arrest the result of Troopers responding to assist the Capitol Police with a disturbance at 6th District Court. Aponte was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed, arraigned, and released on $1,000 Personal Recognizance.

ARREST LOCATION: PROVIDENCE

At 1:50 A.M., Troopers arrested James P. Gomes, age 23, of 58 Gray Street, Providence on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Vehicle Theft by the Lincoln Police Department. Arrest the result of a motor vehicle stop on Atwells Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Lincoln Police Department.

ARREST LOCATION: PROVIDENCE

At 1:50 A.M., Troopers arrested Nicole Faria, age 24 of 120 Myette Street in Woonsocket for Driving Under the Influence/First Offense – 0.15 or Greater. (Phase I – 0.220, Phase II – 0.235) Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident on Route 95 North in the City of Providence, and subsequent investigation. Faria was transported to the Lincoln Barracks where she was processed, arraigned, and released with future court dates.
