The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Marco Ortiz with one count of first degree child molestation. It is alleged that on or about a day and date between December 1, 2010 and March 1, 2011, Ortiz molested a person 14 years or under, with the molestation being in the first degree.
The alleged incident took place in Providence. The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Ortiz is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on February 15, 2012. He is currently being held without bail.
