At 8:00AM, Troopers arrested Sopheak Khong, age 28, of 85 Scituate Avenue, Johnston, RI for a 3rd District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear on the Ability to Pay on a Suspended License charge out of the Cranston Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 in the City of Cranston. Khong was transported to Headquarters for processing, and then was later released after posting bail to Justice of the Peace.
At 11:45 AM Troopers arrested Miguel Ruiz, age 31, of 96 Bowdoin Street, Providence, RI for a 6th District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on a Misdemeanor Shoplifting charge out of the Providence Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Barton Street in the City of Providence. Ruiz was transported to Headquarters for processing, and then turned over to the ACI.
At 3:00 PM, Troopers arrested Michaela Zarra, age 40, of 34 Princess Avenue, Cranston, RI for 1) 3rd District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Arraignment on a Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses charge out of the Warwick Police Department 2) 6th District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear on the Ability to Pay on a Suspended License charge out of the RISP Lincoln Barracks. Arrest was made during the Seatbelt Enforcement Detail on Hartford Avenue at Route 6 in the City of Providence. Zarra was later processed, and turned over to the Woman's ACI Intake Center.
At 2:59 AM, Troopers arrested Constance Lima, age 43, of 20 Pezzullo Street, Johnston, RI for 1) Driving Under The Influence of Liquor or Drugs - 1st Offense .15/Greater (Phase I BAC .168 and Phase II BAC .160) and 2) 3rd District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Payment Review on a Suspended License charge originating out of the Warwick Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. Lima was transported to Headquarters, processed, and held overnight pending AM arraignment.
At 3:12 AM, Troopers arrested Ronald Johnson, age 24, of 109 Jewett Street, Providence, RI for a 6th District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Obstructing Police Officer charge originating out of the Lincoln Police Department. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Laurel Hill Avenue in the City of Providence. Johnson was transported to Headquarters where he was processed, and then special arraigned before the Justice of the Peace.
