At 1:00 pm Troopers arrested Paul G. Diogenes, age 39, of 504 Woodward Road North Providence, RI on an Affidavit and Arrest warrant out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks for: 1.Reckless Driving, 2. Operating on a Cancelled License and 3. Obstruction. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation into a motor vehicle crash on Route 195 on Monday March 26, 2012. Diogenes was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before Justice of the Peace Finnegan and held as a probation violator.
At 5:20 pm, Troopers arrested Angel Rodriguez, age 37, of 240 Clarence Street, Providence, RI on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Operating with a Suspended License out of the State Police – Scituate Barracks. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Webster Avenue in the City of Cranston. Rodriguez was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Finnegan and subsequently released.
At 4:53 pm, Troopers arrested Kevin Cournoyer, age 21, of 629 Wood Street, Bristol, RI for Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V (Adderall). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 North in the Town of North Providence. Cournoyer was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Finnegan and released
At 9:12 pm, Troopers arrested Curtis Mason, age 48, of 100 Park Place, Pawtucket, RI for 1.) Duty to Stop in an Accident Resulting in Damage to an Attended Vehicle and 2.) Operating on a Suspended License. This arrest was the result of a hit and run motor vehicle accident on Route 95 North in the City of Pawtucket from which Mason fled the scene. Mason was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Finnegan, and subsequently released.
