On Saturday, May 5, 2012, At 1:45PM, a Trooper arrested Cheryl Johnson, age: 55 of 12 Putnam Street, Providence, RI for: 1.) a Providence County Superior Court warrant for Probation Violation on a charge of Possession of Schedule I-V originating from the Pawtucket Police and 2.) a Kent County Superior Court warrant for a Probation Violation on a charge of Felony Shoplifting originating from Warwick PD. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Huntington Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing and later turned over to the Women's Intake Center.
On Satuday, May 5, 2012, at 3:00 PM, a Trooper arrested Carlos Garcia, age 32, of 150 School St. Central Falls, RI on an Affidavit & Arrest Warrant from Pawtucket Police for the charge of Disorderly Conduct. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 East in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing and then turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.
On Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 3:00 PM, Troopers arrested Dimas Hernandez, age 28, of 40 Calder Street, Providence on a 6th District Court Bench warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay Fines on the original charge of Driving With Suspended License. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hawkins Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed, special arraigned and released after posting the required bail.
On Saturday, May 5 2012, at 5:50 PM, a Trooper arrested Sam Xayachack, age 31, of 963 Atwells Avenue Providence RI,on a Sixth District Court Bench warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay Fines on an original charge of operating on a suspended license. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the City of Cranston. Mr. Xayachack was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, special arraigned and released after posting the required bail.
On Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 9:05 PM, Troopers arrested Christopher Rogue, age 35 of 30 Langley Street ,Warwick, RI, for Driving Under the Influence. The Breathalyzer results are as follows: 1st phase blood alcohol content .141, 2nd phase blood alcohol content .150. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 West in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned and released on Personal Recognizance to the custody of a relative.
On Sunday, May 6, 2012, at 2:15AM Troopers arrested Marc Jones, age 25, of 250 Gallatin Street, Providence, RI, for: 1.) 4th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on an original charge of Disorderly Conduct from the URI Campus Police, 2.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Review on an original charge of Possession of Marijuana/Subsequent Offense; 3.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Review on an original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V; 4.) 6th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on an original charge of Possession of Marijuana of which all orginated from Providence PD. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Intake Center.
