At 6:00 PM, Troopers arrested Brandon Wilson, age 26, of 286 Indiana Avenue, Cranston RI, for 1) 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear Non- Support. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in the City of Providence. Wilson was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute Intake Center.
At 7:30 PM, Troopers arrested Richard Jalbert, age 55, of 351 New London Avenue, Warwick, RI for 1) False Representation to Obtain Controlled Substance by Fraud, 2) Larceny Under $500. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation of a possible theft of prescription forms from a Physician's office. Jalbert was processed and special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace McCaffrey at State Police Headquarters.
At 11:35 PM, Troopers arrested Julius Durant, age 34, of 77 Waterman Avenue, East Providence, RI for 1) 6th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on 3/15/12 on the charge of Driving With Suspended License originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department, 2) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of 3rd Domestic/Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street in the City of Providence. Durant was transported to the State Police Lincoln Barracks, processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute Intake Center.
