The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flash flood warning for Providence and Kent counties until 6:15 p.m.
Heavy rainfalls are expected to cause flash flooding of poor drainage and urban areas.
Rhode Islanders are reminded to not attempt to drive through flooded roadways.
