Lincoln Woods Barracks

On Thursday August 30,2012 At 10:30AM Troopers with the assistance of Providence Police, arrested Carlos Washington, age 20, of 120 Regent Avenue, Providence, RI for 1. (2) Counts of Obstructing a Police Officer, and 2. Operating with a Suspended License. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in Providence, where Washington fled on foot from a Trooper A subsequent search by State Police and Providence Police revealed that the subject was on foot in the area of Route 10 at Marvin Street and was subsequently able to take Washington into custody on Chapin Street. Washington had an affidavit and arrest warrant out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks from a prior motor vehicle stop that occurred on August 23 where Washington also fled on foot.

On Thursday August 30,2012 at 11:30AM, Trooper arrested Michael Barr, age 37, of 1182 Putnam Pike, Glocester, RI for 1.) Domestic Disorderly Conduct 2. Domestic Violence Prevention- Violation of No Contact Order 3. Affidavit Arrest Warrant out of the Cumberland Police Department for Violation of a Protection Order 4. Affidavit Arrest Warrant out of the Lincoln Police Department for a Violation of a No Contact Order. The arrest was the result of an investigation at Sixth District Court in which Barr caused a disturbance.

On Thursday August 30,2012at 7:45 PM, Troopers arrested Mirianyi Nunez, age 21, of 120 Regent Avenue, Providence, RI for 1. Eluding, and 2. Operating with a Suspended License. Arrest was the result of an investigation into a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in Providence, where Carlos Washington fled on foot and Nunez fled in the motor vehicle eluding . Subject was processed at the Lincoln Barracks appeared before a Justice of the Peace and released with a future court date.

On Firday August 31,2012 at 2:31 AM, Troopers arrested Grant Shippee, age 19, of 285 Byron Randall Road, Scituate, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, BAC Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Route 6, in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment in Sixth District Court.
