At 1:33 PM, Trooper Draper arrested Matthew ALIX, age 24, of 363 Arcadia Road, Richmond, RI on a 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/ Ability to Pay on a charge of Driving Under the Influence originating out of the Hope Valley Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on New London Turnpike in the Town of West Greenwich. ALIX was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later transported to 3rd District Court.
At 7:33 PM, Troopers arrested Brian Beagan, age 31, of 637 Sandy Lane, Warwick, RI for 1.) 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/ Ability to Pay on an original charge of operating on a suspended license originating out of the Johnston Police Department, 2.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Restitution on a charge of larceny > $500 originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 3.) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty, and 4.) Operating on a Suspended License. Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the Town of West Warwick. Beagan was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.
At 1:45AM, Troopers arrested Fausto A. Nunez, age 36, of 159 Montgomery Street Pawtucket, RI for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs 1st Offense .15 or Greater (1st Phase BAC .172, 2nd Phase BAC .168). Arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
