On October 2, 2012, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Kevin Walczak, age 46, of 90 Weaver Road, North Kingstown, RI, as a Fugitive from Justice out of Texas on a charge of Aggravated Assault. Walczak was arraigned in Fourth District Court, where he waived extradition proceedings and bail was set at $50,000.00 double surety.
On October 2, 2012, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Modesto Diep, age 31, of 67 Ardoene Street #2, Providence, RI, for the following: 1) Possession of Heroin with Intent to Deliver; 2) Distribution of a Controlled Substance Near a School Zone; and 3) Possession of a Controlled Substance (Vicodin). Diep was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and transported to Sixth District Court, where he was arraigned and held without bail.
On October 2, 2012, members of the Auto Theft Unit arrested Christopher Fiske, age 26, of 54 Silver Lake Avenue, Providence, RI, on a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Felony Conspiracy. Fiske was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and turned over to Superior Court officials in Providence.
