At 9:15 AM, Troopers arrested Alexander Silvestre, age 31, of 1328 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island on 1.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a charge of Driving on a Suspended License, originating out the Pawtucket Police Department, 2.) Family Court Bench Warrant for Full Body Attachment. The arrest was the result of assisting a disabled motor vehicle on Route 95 South in the City of Providence. Silvestre was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and later turned over to Sixth District Court.
At 10:00 AM, Troopers arrested Trisha Richard, age 29, of 20 Wilcox Street Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of Heroin, 2.) Parole Board Warrant for Violation of Parole. The arrest was the result of Troopers obtaining information from Lieutenant Philbin that a wanted party was located at the bus stop at the intersection of Huntington Ave and Cranston Street in the City of Providence. Richard was transported to the Lincoln Barracks where she was processed, arraigned before Justice of the Peace Muksian and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution, Women's Intake Center.
At 3:00 PM, Troopers arrested Jose Matos, age 35, of 302 Douglas Avenue, 2nd Floor, Providence on a 6th District Court Capias for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay-Misdemeanor Shoplifting, originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Douglas Avenue in the City of Providence. Matos was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and subsequently transported to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men's Intake Center.
At 4:00 PM, Troopers arrested Alexander Rivera, age 35, of 159 Fourth Street, Providence, RI 1.) Domestic Simple Assault, 2.) Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of the Capital Police taking Rivera into custody after he assaulted his ex-wife at Sixth District Family Court in the Garrahy Judicial Complex. Rivera was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Muksian and released with a No Contact Order.
At 4:00 PM, Troopers arrested Jamie Schmidt, age 28, of 2 Weaver Street, Fall River, MA for 1.) Simple Assault, 2.) Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of the Capital Police taking Schmidt into custody after an assault that occurred at Sixth District Family Court in the Garrahy Judicial Complex. Schmidt was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Muksian and released with a No Contact Order.
At 11:40 PM, Troopers arrested Saul Mendez, age 37, of 146 Chapin Avenue, Providence, RI on a Second District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving Without a License originating out of the Rhode Island State Police, Portsmouth Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Messer Street in the City of Providence. Mendez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men's Intake Center.
