LaRiviere (401) 444-1009 On Thursday, October 25, 2012, at 11:50 AM, Troopers arrested Derek Calabro, age 38, of 51 Oak Hill Drive, Johnston, RI, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Violation of Banking Laws by the Narragansett Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Providence. The Subject was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and turned over to the Narragansett Police Department.
On Thursday, October 25, 2012, at 1:15 PM, Troopers arrested Ricardo Pena, age 18, of 111 Burnett Street, Providence, RI,on an Affidavit/Arrest Warrant for Receiving Stolen Goods – Over $1,500 from the Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Eddy Street in the City of Providence. The Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.
On Friday, October 26, 2012, at 12:45 AM, Troopers arrested Samuel Taborn, age 51, of 344 Washington Street, Providence, RI, for the charge of Obstruction. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Douglas Avenue in the City of Providence. The Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and was held overnight pending an arraignment at the Sixth Division District Court.
On Friday, October 26, 2012, at 1:48 AM, Troopers arrested Jamil Taban, age 23, of 59 Ash Street, Attleboro, MA, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs BAC.15 or Greater – first offense. The Subject consented to a Breathalyzer Test and the results are as follows: Phase 1 = .169, Phase 2 = .171. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South, in the City of Warwick. Mr. Taban was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending an arraignment at the Third Division District Court.
