Governor Lincoln Chafee and National Grid RI President Timothy Horan will hold a media availability at National Grid's Providence, R.I. Storm Room and Municipal Room

WHERE: 280 Melrose St. Providence, RI 02907 (Media should use the Visitors Parking Area and entrance near the corner of Melrose and Thackeray Sts.)
WHO: The Hon. Lincoln D. Chafee, Governor, State of Rhode Island Timothy F. Horan, President, National Grid in Rhode Island
WHY: The National Grid Storm Room is the clearing house for service restoration activity in Rhode Island. National Grid personnel will be receiving damage information, posting assignments and communicating directly with municipal officials in the state's cities and towns with information about restoration activity. Attendees will receive an update on service outages and restoration efforts and will have an opportunity for one-on-one interviews with National Grid personnel.
NOTE: The Melrose St building is a secure facility. Attendees must be escorted from the visitor's entrance to the storm room area. Please plan to arrive to arrive no later than 3 p.m.
