MEDIA CONTACT: Lieutenant Brian Casilli, Acting Detective Commander 1.) On November 2, 2012, at 10:00 AM, Detectives at the Adult Correctional Institution charged inmate Lauren R. Sills, age 25, having a last known address of 85 Garfield Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice out of the State of New Jersey. Inmate Sills was wanted by the Burlington County Sheriffs Department on a default warrant for Failure to Appear for a pre-arraignment conference on an original charge of Arson. Mr. Sills was presented before the Honorable Judge Houlihan in Third Division District Court, where extradition proceedings were waived. Inmate Sills was remanded to the Intake Service Center of the ACI to await New Jersey authorities. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the ACI Investigations Unit.

On November 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM, Detectives at the Adult Correctional Institution charged Ulysses Diaz, age 23, having a last known address of 441 Woonasquatucket Avenue, North Providence, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice out of Seekonk, Massachusetts on a default warrant for Failure to Appear on the following charges: 1) Breaking and entering vehicle/boat daytime/felony; 2) Three counts of Larceny over $250; 3) Two counts of Breaking and entering vehicle/boat nighttime/felony; 4) Destruction of property over $250;, 4) two counts of destruction of property under $250; and 5.) Conspiracy. Mr. Diaz was presented before the Honorable Judge Houlihan in Third Division District Court, where extradition proceedings were waived. Mr. Diaz was remanded to the Intake Service Center of the ACI to await Massachusetts authorities. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the ACI Investigations Unit.
