Amended Declaration Would Bring Public Assistance to Kent County
Providence, RI - Governor Lincoln Chafee announced today that he has formally signed a revised request to President Barack Obama for declaration of a major disaster for the State of Rhode Island.
Governor Chafee requested the addition of Public Assistance for Kent County, Rhode Island. The Governor previously requested a declaration for Public Assistance for Bristol, Newport, and Washington Counties, which was subsequently granted by the President, and Individual Assistance for Newport and Washington Counties.
