The Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has granted a request to close the Westerly DMV Branch on Friday, November 23, 2012. The Town of Westerly has notified DMV that Westerly Town Hall – where the DMV's Westerly office is located - will be closed for the Thanksgiving weekend. The Westerly DMV office will reopen on Friday, November 30, 2012.
To accommodate customers, DMV offices in Woonsocket, Middletown and Cranston will be open for business transactions as usual on Friday, November 23, 2012.
