On Wednesday, February 6, 2013, members of the State Police Detective and Uniform Divisions, in coordination with the Police Departments from Providence, Cranston, Pawtucket, Central Falls, East Providence, Cumberland, Lincoln, the Massachusetts State Police, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the United States Marshals Service, arrested forty nine (49) individuals as a result of a coordinated early morning warrant sweep throughout the Providence Metropolitan area. Thirty one (31) individuals were arrested and processed by the State Police and eighteen (18) were arrested and processed by the Providence Police (Please refer to the Providence Police Press Release). Legal assistance was provided by the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office and the United States Attorney's Office.
