The Washington County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging James Mulcahey with DUI, death resulting and driving to endanger, death resulting.
It is alleged that on or about August 30, 2012, Mulcahey, while driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, caused the death of another driver. It is further alleged that Mulcahey was operating the motor vehicle in reckless disregard of the safety of others, causing the death of the other driver.
The alleged events took place in South Kingstown. The South Kingstown Police conducted the investigation. Mulcahey is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on May 15, 2013.
