The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Mark Hitchener with three counts of first degree sexual assault and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon. It is alleged that on or about December 4, 2012, Hitchener physically and sexually assaulted a woman. The alleged incident took place in Providence. The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Hitchener is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on May 29, 2013.
